Woodside

Exclusive community, famed for horseback riding and CEOs.

Welcome to Woodside

Woodside is exclusive and enchanting, a place where horses trot along wooded trails, and where CEOs and famous figures live a lifestyle of bucolic calm. Modestly claiming one of the nation’s most affluent zip codes, Woodside is conveniently located mid-Peninsula and within easy reach of everywhere. With a charming village center and semi-rural atmosphere, Woodside feels like a world apart.

Woodside offers its affluent residents a lifestyle of horseback riding and unbroken peacefulness. Surrounded by towering sequoia redwoods and open space preserves, Woodside provides an idyllic retreat from the Silicon Valley tech scene, even though it’s ideally positioned for commuting. This prestigious community’s 5,500 residents are drawn here by the horse-centered lifestyle, exclusivity, open space, and tranquility.

Woodside’s sprawling lots are the canvas for masterful architectural creations. Each piece of Woodside real estate is unique, with styles including Colonial mansions, classic Californian ranches, and creative contemporary custom-builds. Spacious interiors incorporate gala event spaces, cutting-edge fitness facilities, gourmet kitchens, and luxurious home theaters. Lush landscaped grounds feature tennis and basketball courts, lavish gardens, and outdoor pools. No two properties are alike and there are also old teardowns awaiting transformation into a dream home of your own creation.

Home prices in Woodside among the highest in the entire Bay Area. In 2018, the median sales price was $3,262,500 and the highest was $20 million. In 2012, there was a record-setting sale of $117.5 million.

Woodside consistently ranks among the nation’s most affluent communities. Its idyllic setting often appeals to tech CEOs seeking a daily retreat from the fast pace of Silicon Valley. Homes are spaced far apart, yet there is a convivial sense of old-world neighborliness. It’s a wonderful place to relax and reenergize. Equestrian pursuits are a way of life here and Woodside’s Horse Park is the heart of it all. Facilities within the Horse Park’s 272 oak-studded acres include stalls and barns for horse shows, cross-country jumping courses, eight arenas covering 4 acres, a full-sized dressage court, and 150 acres of open pasture. Woodside’s bountiful surrounding trails and open space preserves provide an abundance of areas to explore on horseback.
